Our Mission
Toys for Tots SF brings the San Francisco community together to collect holiday toys for children and families in need.
Toys for Tots SF organizes an annual holiday gathering where friends, hosts and volunteers come together around a shared charitable purpose. The nonprofit incorporated in 2026 carries forward a San Francisco community event founded in 2004.
Collecting toys for local families
Guests bring toys to the gathering. Toys collected at our party are distributed to families in San Francisco in partnership with the San Francisco Firefighters Local 798 Toy Program.
Our role is to organize the gathering and mobilize community participation. The toy program handles distribution. For questions about our collection event or distribution partner, contact us.

Host or support the gathering
Hosts help invite their communities and welcome guests. Host contributions and corporate sponsorships fund event production, operations and guest hospitality, creating the setting in which toys are collected. They are distinct from the toys guests donate.

Volunteer

Toys for Tots SF is an independent California nonprofit public benefit corporation and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation or the United States Marine Corps.
